you have been doing some miles later thou hopefully the new seats will help...the shop that was going to fit the interface for my alpine h/u has closed down,if i get the alpine interface can you fit it at the same time...here is a link to it

Darren what a great set of seats they are a def steal at that price.
hard to tell with the pictures but i bet they look great in the flesh mate :happy2:

alright mate

just got a few probs hoping you can help me out with

fitted the newer climatronic to my car mkv r32 dsg 58 plate
fitting wasnt a problem, took out pin 16, chopped pin 20 in half and soldered pin 16 to pin 20
display worked striaght away, im pretty sure that the ac is working cos i get cold air when tested and i could hear the engine not change slighty when the ac button was pressed


i did a scan and brought up these faults, before the swap i had 0 faults so all these are new

Just to answer your question mate clear the faults on the gateway and your sparodic faults will clear, its cos you have had the climate panel disconnected...The fault on the climate is due to the missing labels in vcds?  which version are you using.

ok will try that mate, im using the lastest version of vcds 10.6.2
just downloaded it today, at first vcds wasnt picking up the climatronic but after the update it picked it up, ill try clearing the faults  one by one in each controller, also the function msg fault do you know how to get rid of it? did u get the labels from ross tech?
