As you know we have moved to a more reasonably priced server. I have setup this PayPal pool. Don't go crazy I think the hosting will cost 20 to 25 a month but maybe less. I would also like to add an anti spam subscription which will cost 8 a year. DONE https://paypal.me/pools/c/8wS00vhDVI

That solves the mystery of the old system being on sale! Good fit with the bumper - how loud is it with it being non-res?
Hi, yeah the old system was just a stop gap having said that is was a really good fit considering the price .as for the Milltek I’ve had a few no

To close this off - 6 months and 4k miles later - it has stopped rattling
I suspect it would have stopped sooner, Lockdown has meant the furthest driven since October is a hand full of 40 mile round trips, otherwise it's just short 3 to 5 mile trips only 4 times a week.

The OEM 7R/GTI PP/Cupra R pads are partitioned in the middle, so not sure what brand the pads pictured are.
They are plain vanilla Brembo'#039s as listed on ECP for Mk7 Golf R - very aware of better pad materials out there, my thinking is try the basic and see how I get on - I am sti

Did anyone figure out how to illuminate both left and right side buttons? I followed the guide of soldering a wire in the left button module and this illuminates only that side.
Any help will be greatly appreciated !

finally installed the RCD330 unit all went well, that is until I switched it on and only the left passenger speaker is actually producing any sound. Gonna have to take it out again to see if I clipped everything in properly. Anyone had this problem?
Took it all apart and reconnecte

Thanks Pudding that'#039s really useful info. As an insight to my level of knowledge I didn'#039t even know where the sensor was nbsp Very interesting you should mention they need replacing at around 100k as the first time the CEL came on was at 100,003 miles! I don'#039t have VCDS only an odbeleven reader so fairly limited in what I can do. What woul

All good diligence there nbsp I had a bad injector cause a dead misfire at 80K, so I just replaced all 4 because, well, why not. nbsp It'#039s a ball ache removing the intake manifold and once one lets go, the others will follow. These engines totally rely on the injectors for mpg and smooth running, but the harsh nature of GDI kills them off, especially on sh

If it'#039s slipping in 5th and 6th it'#039s properly had it. nbsp
I'#039ve only noticed slip in 4th up a steep hill at 3500rpm, and that was after a remap. nbsp
For a standard car to slip in 5th/6th @ 55K, someone has either coated the friction disc in KY jelly, or some pretty sh1t clutch control has occurred over a long period.
As useful as KY is for solving f

Aye! The Racingline one is a sack of sh1t. The one to get is the Vibratechnics. Vibratechnics make the Racingline one anyway but they (Racingline) specified a durometer that's too stiff. Racingline don't make anything themselves. They are overpriced charlatans.

Top mount bolts = 15nm + 90 degrees. nbsp Arrows on top mount must face North/south on the vehicle. Always use TT top mounts, GTI ones are rubbish. 24mm Driveshaft hub bolt (if it needs to come out) = 200nm + 180 degrees. Drop link nuts = 65nm.
