« on: November 01, 2014, 11:43:42 pm »
hi guys,
calling all revo intake owners lol
have any of you had a rear heatshield fitted to keep the intake temps down etc? keeping it cool all helps
i was gonna buy a custom made 1 from Alex aks tuning but it could be a while as he's so busy so ive seen these 2 types and wondered if anyone else has them
just wondering on quality and fitting etc or any other recomendations?

Yes I use the garage midnight one even though I have the cam coated version if the revo intake  :happy2:

I believe Martin on here does too!

It can't do any harm being there so for the sake of £20 I thought why not

I have a Exhaust Manifold Heatshield fitted behind/under my cam coated REVO CAI and I still think it gets too hot. Ive painted the heatshield with some VHT paint and may well put some Gold heat reflective tape to both sides too.

Got mine from Garage midnight but can be got from PSI, EVOMS from Regal, Forge IIRC and obviously Mr Kerr (if he's not too busy).
