Really steve? I thought that you could; for example, run an ITG and down pipe with stage 2 software without upgrading the fuel pump?
depends on the map your running, I wouldn't run Revo without an uprated pump.

Ohh ok. Its academic anyway as there more chance of me walking on the moon than getting S2! :signLOL:

Your getting all confused MR Saint. Why would you not run Revo without a pump.

I'm referring to the powerful ko4 and not the smaller ko3 TC.

Revo's map request's more fuel pressure then superchips map does  :innocent:

Lots of people run a intake without a HPFP on a k04..

....Steve is right. If you run an ITG Maxogen (cone filter on a pipe) as opposed to an ITG flat panel filter, the power gains are such that it would be very wise to upgrade the fuel pump to avoid fuel cuts. However, you can only do this if you have a Revo remap so you can fine tune the B/T/F settings down a notch so that your OEM fuel pump can be retained. I know because this is how JKM have set up my K03 Revo2 car because I'd rather spend the cost of an APR fuel pump on carbon wings as mine need repair.

^^ stage one would be ok, but stage 2 Revo would be pushing it.

Well thats the first i have heard of standard stage 2 Revo map needing a CIA. Ko 3 or the bigger Ko 4. And i have read quite a bit on this forum.  :innocent: as far as i am aware all you need is the zorst for stage 2.  :happy2:

Cheers Robin, glad someone knows what I'm trying to recommend.

it would work TC, but as what I've been told along with lots of people that run certain rolling road days, it's wise to up rate the fuel pump when running Revo 2 on the k04. Not sure what boost request is on ko3 as a comparison on the same named map on the GTi variant.

I'm chilled I was just thinking about poor Rich's build thread.

Maybe TC can tidy up and moved it to Random Drivel where it belongs.

@ Hedge:

Re TC cleaning up this thread,

- Yes, I think you are right if Rich feels some of the posts are off topic for his thread.

- No, I think you are wrong to call it "random drivel" when what's being discussed is informative.

Why is it wise when unlike poofin you have the ability to adjust the boost, timing and fueling for you own car with Revo
