Today, I drove to Warrington and back then used the bluefin I'd ordered. feels nice. I'd have gone for more power but at 95k and an unknown clutch I don't want to say goodbye to another slab of cash.

Fuel filter change.  I do them annually to keep everything flowing nicely.

Pretty filthy after just 1 year.

Changed the MAF housing O ring as my original was a bit of a loose fit.  70mm ID x 6mm, available online for £1.20.  VW don't sell them separately.

Made a bumper protector from vinyl to cover some scratches.  Pretty pleased how it came out.  Looks very OEM    Excuse the dirt!  You can buy purpose made plastic protectors and indeed I had one, but they don't fit that well and the tailgate kept catching it, chipping the paint off in the process.  This is loads better and doesn't allow dirt to collect under it either, like the plastic ones do.

What the hell! How annoying!! Hoepfully not too painfull to remedy. On a side note, your paintwork is stunning Daz
Fair play there was a note under the wiper arm. He is popping over this afternoon. But the quarter panel looks out of shape although i'm the only one who can see it. Will they even fix that?

Just infront of the wheel.

Got the car back today they repaired the rear of the car but insurance company would not repair the quarter panel :(.

Insurance company are going to sort the quarter panel said there was a miscommunication as the accessor did say to repair it.

Found this on the garage facebook page.
