Im sorry guys but this isnt racing at all. There all just doing their own strategies, when you have Vettel's race engineer telling him NOT to race kimi you know theres problems.

Yeah sure theres overtaking but its not exactly wheel to wheel, there just letting each other past so as not to damage there tyres and strategies.

Basically the race starts after the last round of pitstops, what is the point in that :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:

Too much strategy as a result of tyres but Pirelli's head honcho (on the Red Button) said that Pirelli were going to address that for future races.

So very happy that Alonso won and that Massa was on the podium.  :happy2: :happy2:

Suzi Perry is doing a great job as Jake Humphrey was a very difficult act to follow indeed.

I like what they did with the tyres last season, that was a perfect balance of wear and grip for entertaining racing.

This season seems to have gone to far with the wear rates.  ie the Mercedes being the fastest car on track for qualifying by a substantial margin, but the drivers struggling to drive SLOW ENOUGH in the race to make the tyres work.

This is going to be Alonso's season IMO, with Kimi running a close second.  Hopefully Vettel gets pipped for third by either Rosberg, hamilton or Webber or Massa.

Im liking the fact the season is more open this year without Redbull dominating everything, but I think everyone would like the tyres to last better.

Hope Mercedes can sort out their race set up as they clearly have a very capable car.  :popcornsoda:

I did mention this 6 pages back. This season is pants and unless they change the tyres quickly it will carry on getting worse. The entire race just looks fake.  :booty:
If the drivers are driving round 2 or 3 seconds off their fastest pace then they might as well stick average drivers in with sh*tty personalities for Eastender type drama for us.    :fighting2:

I think this year has been ruined by Pirelli. it is not about who is the best driver or who has the fastest car, it is all about which team has the best analysts and Managers. You are going to get situations like today quite often unless they change the tyre deg. What is the point of having no racing and cars doing 95 % of what they are capable of.  :stupid: I dont mind the tyres being hard to figure out but when the answer is to just mother them until the end of the race then in my opinion it is carp.  :indifferent:

I've nearly fallen asleep with all the GPs this year so far. Tyres have killed the racing IMO. I want to see everyone driving flat out all race, not scared to push.

Redbull have said that if they were to lap at the absolute maximum potential of their race car for the entire race they would have had to change tyres around 8-10 times with the current compounds.

Put in that context i guess its fair to say that the compound arent durable enough.  Thats also considering the hard tyre from sundays race was actually a new compound that was allegedly meant to be more durable than the hard compound in the previous few races.
