Yes, that's an Opel Corsa (Vauxhall Nova in the UK) with an engine swap from a Vectra 2.0 16V 136 CV. With semi-slick tyres and its lightweight can do the same lap time as mine. I just beat him in the straights at the moment.

There used to be a GSI with a 2.0 16v red top conversion knocking about near me a long time ago. Very quick, but kept breaking driveshafts etc. I haven't seen a Nova on the road for about 10 years!

There are still a few well preserved Corsas/Novas being used here from enthusiasts but I can still see the odd not so well preserved Corsa/Nova driven by some old man.
