Lightweight Wheels..
« on: November 04, 2015, 12:29:54 am »
I'm currently searching for lightweight wheels and looking at what else is on the market besides the cheaper options of Team Dynamic 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.5 compared to your more expensive options of OZ Ultraleggera / Allegerrita..

I've come across Autec Wizards (See below) which are growing on me the more i look at them.. Lead to believe these are 9kg's each?.. Correct me if I'm wrong..

http://www.rimstyle.com/alloywheels/wheel/index.html?wheel=autec_wizard_type_w_gm&colour=gunmetal_anthracite

There is also the speed line turini's but as i've found are quite sparse..

What else is out there that are specifically lightweight and between £6-800 without tyres give or take..

Difficult to find light wheels for the price your after spending.

Just do what I did get some pro race alloys and spend the rest on tuning.

I am in the same boat. Looking to getting light weight rims for my black gti. Not sure what colour to go for. Don't like black on black so I am guessing gun metal/anthracite is the best colour for black. Had looked at the team dynamics 1.2.

Any one got any photos of there black gti with the gun metal team dynamics??

Carl. Tbh get the TD 1.2's.

I weighed both my 1.2's and my Turini"s and 1.2's were around a kilo a corner lighter (info in my build thread somewhere), yes my Turini's look the nuts but if you are after light weight within your price range  look no fitter than the TD's. Oz HLT's will be awesome but you'll be paying twice as much.

Nice. More than a passing resemblance to an OZ wheel...

Gone but not forgotten :-)

You have a picture of these on your R32? Or a link to a build thread as I can't find a picture of them on a golf from a quick google
