US version GTI w/AWE K04 kit running 92octane. I have since changed from giac's/awe k04 file to giac's K04 high output file but haven't had it dyno'd yet;

Max 284 whp and 363 lb-ft

How do I get numbers like these(without getting a new car)? I put on a k04 plus the mods in my Sig, but getting 285 wheel hp on 92 octane.
Would cams and internals bump me up? Oh, and are these dyno's at the wheel or crank?

The figures you see mate arent whp thats crank hp. So your 285whp is around the same as those you see above factoring in the losses.  :happy2:
Stage 2+ 280.4 bhp ITG, Revo Stage 2+, decat, hpfp, THS intercooler, THS engine mounts, Pcv revamp, sportline springs, rs4 fuel valve, DS2500 pads and brembo discs, braided lines, ATE super blue brake fluid and more to come

Thanks, I was about to pack up and move over there, LOL.
I need to get back on the dyno myself and see how my giac high output file differs from the awe/giac file.
Anyone here have the giac high output file on their fsi? I'll go searching for now.

This^^
You can approximate your crank hp for FWD cars by adding 10 bhp to the wheel figure and divide the result by 0.9. In Roh Echt's case it's around 327 crank bhp .

14hp gain from a gearbox map  :happy2:
that was the whole problem with the map at leeds shark reckoned. the dsg was limiting the torque, they played with the map but still couldnt get it to use its full potential, the revo dsg map increases the torque limit up to 500Nm from 350Nm, so I guess the fact the box wasnt playing with the timing anymore to cut torque,it release a fewmore ponies :happy2:
That looks alot healhier Dom you can now enjoy driving it  :happy2:
I got there in the end :drinking:

Could something else still be amiss as Sunglasses Ron with the revo dsg map didn't have his torque plateau like yours at 350lb ft...

Bacillus, HeavyD,

My car (Hurdy's old one) has the Revo Stage 2 DSG map and has loads more torque than HD's car showed (my RR graph is above somewhere), but my Revo Stage 2+ map still throws up the same error as HeavyD's did...

So I doubt there is anything wrong with his car that is causing the low torque.

Matt

My point is the revo dsg map (both stage 1 & 2) raises the torque level to the box to 500Nm (approx 368lb ft).

His torque shouldn't plateau and be limited to 350lb ft because of the dsg box. Sunglasses Ron's graph clearly doesn't show some sort of limitation of torque to 350lb ft hence my comment.
