They are very "consistent" Which is a good thing
After looking through most of the mk5 related days on JKM's website I did notice that the r32's were getting 225bhp ish which suggests they measure a tad lower than expected

That might be down to them doing the runs in 2WD mode but hedge has been on there before I think with a R32 can't remember what numbers it made tho!

It was piss poor Lee. Sounded epic mind.

As it's only a 2WD dyno pulling the fuse for the haldex causes awful amounts of drag.

....JKM don't allow '4WD' cars like R32's on their rollers nowadays.

Usually JKM try and get a standard car on early so that its bhp plot provides a datum. So, for example, if a stock Ed30 is meant to run 230 bhp but runs 225 or 235 on the day then that's a yardstick for the rest of the runners. That's assuming the standard car is in good health.

Just because a stock car runs stock figures on a dyno, doesn't always mean that the dyno is bang-on accurate.. I have lost count of the RR days I have been on and seen stock figures from a stock car and then laughable ones from a modded one..

I am with you RR with regards having a 'more realistic' figure for your car rather than the highest you can possibly get (regardless of how accurate it is).. But JKM is renowned for giving the lowest in the land for modded VAG cars on RR days. Isn't the highest Stage 2+ K04 car that has been run there still only 330bhp for example?
Also - call me cynical, but I have never known a RR venue find so many faults with cars that are run on their rollers..  :confused:

Also agree that the best way to record gains/losses/general heath of your car is to run it on the same rollers each time.. Best way by far.

....I agree. I was meaning that it just gives a relative datum for the day rather than bang-on accurate.  :happy2:

....Then I'll call you cynical my friend on this occasion. I've never heard of JKM finding a fault on a Dyno-Day which didn't actually exist. Dyno-Days, as you know, are a great opportunity for a health check as well as a fun and social occasion.

Hi Dave,

To achieve these figures the car was running the following engine mods:

Revo Stage 2+ linear throttle map (latest revision)
Devil's Own WMI (dual nozzle setup using BSH TB pipe and USRT TB spacer)
THS intercooler
APR HPFP
RS4 fuel return valve
ITG intake
Milltek TBE with De-cat

There is probably a few other bits i've forgotten about.

Yep i'm very happy with the way its driving now  :happy2:
