There is a potential issue with them due to them being zero resistance. Alex is gonna put something up about it soon. I wasnt going to change them, but he said he wanted to just incase. More info to follow.

What does that mean exactly "zero resistance" to non tech people?

Some lovely progress Rich, cracking price on the bulbs, I remember my old Audi ones were like £150 retail each. You going S3 brakes all round then?

Is indeed a good price Rich, wow.

Will they fit the 8P3 Nath? (I'd assume so)

Bulbs? Yes the will with the 8P S3

No. I quite like it being "front braked" if that makes sense

Think of 2 pipes both the same diameter, 1 is clear and allows water to flow uninterrupted, the other has a large turd stuck in it causing the water flow to be restricted and slower, transfer that literally sh*t analogy to electricity and your sorted

In regard to the plugs, I'd imagine that zero resistance plugs would potentially cause issues with electrical 'noise' finding its way to cause interference with the engine management signals etc as the resistor in spark plugs (or inbuilt into the leads in some cases) is there to suppress the electrical noise generated by the spark  :happy2:

Great anal-log-y beddie.  :signLOL:

In other news.... Since having the nology plugs removed, I now have perfect radio reception as it had been very crackly before.

Are the nology plugs something replace sooner rather than later? Think Alex put these in mine and the next service isn't due til September

I've also been venturing into the world of caliper overhauling DIY style... It's interesting to say the least, but learnt loads. Will keep my eye on this build!

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
