Cheers steve,it was highly modded,...dyno proven286bhp and 302lbft....26psi boost on a 1.6 and not to mention several gearboxes!!!!, i owned it from when i was 19 for 10 years. How i never killed it or myself was a miracle

I had a D plate Black Xr3i, but always wanted , but never could afford to purchase or insure an RS turbo....

If more of them were around now, in as good a condition as your old car, i would love to own one.

Oh well, i have an Hyundai i10 to look foward to in 4 weeks...... not quite the same

I must say i put a post on a ford forum trying to find the current owner (which i did) however the rudeness i received was shocking, guys and gals on here are lovely compaired....im glad its still loved by another enthusiast

Is that Clio V6 one of eight in that colour or just one of the only ones in the country?
Reason I ask is that a garage up the road to me in Kingswinford has one for sale in the showroom, about £4500 I think for an 02 reg.
(would have loved to give it a go as it looked evil...even for a Frenchie!)

The one you saw for sale would be a MKI V6. The one in the pic is a MKII. Even so I know they sold more than 8 MKII 255 V6's, so the one he's shown must either be 8 of that colour or a special edition.

well heres my list so far

CLIO 1.2 16v

saxo vts

then i got my first golf 1.8t (agu)

swapped that for a atra 1.8sri and hated it. so only had for a week

swapped the astra for a 2.8 v6 4mo

then swapped the 4mo for a standard 1.8t aum

then sold that to a mate and bought megane 225 cup (really quick car and great fun to drive)

eventually i came to my senses and got the mkv gti

Just in that colour mate. (only 6 left now as 2 have been wrote off)
Off the top of my head there were 256 mk1 230's (2001 - 2003) & 354 mk2 255's (2003 - 2006) not that im a Renaultsport geek or anything :)
