Hurdy's Golf .:R.

Hurdy:
Right then, on with the show!

First mods are already planned and on their way.

Already bought the Autotech internals and HPFP (be here Monday)
Evoms intake - gave very good gains on the ED30 and sounded lovely.
Milltek TBE - currently in discussion with someone, but will be on the car by mid September.
RS4 valve - to be put on at the same time as the HPFP upgrade

These should allow me to go straight to stage 2+ although I'm still looking for a DSG remap and Revo may not be able to supply me, so the only other company i know that does them is MRC Tuning, but they only do the DSG map with an engine map, so I'm torn as I haven't heard any reports about what their engine maps are like. I'm even considering GIAC as they may be able to supply a DSG map too. Also have to consider the fact that the Loba L04XX will be going on at some point and currently only GIAC and Revo have any kind of software in development.

Decisions, decisions!

Any advice here on the DSG map would be appreciated. :happy2:

Janner_Sy:
How come REVO wont give you a DSG remap, What has Steve got on his ed30 or is his manual?

MRC are massive in the RS Audi tuning scene, so might be a pretty decent option.  Cant say i've heard much of GIAC really, but from what i gather Steve@statllers has already switched to REVO from GIAC and made much more power.

Different map for the MKVI Golf .:R with the Haldex and I believe it has different encryption too.

Janner_Sy:
what about RTec?  he's been doing loads on the TFSI recently and might be up for developing on the LO4xx.

Is DSg software a definite requirement just yet or could it not wait a few months?

Hurdy:
The DSG map could wait a while for sure, but I'd like to hoist my mast to a particular tuner well before that. :happy2:
