What head unit is it going to be fitted to?
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

surely the Scirocco VW camera would a better option, seen them sell for not much on ebay and the cable is £40 from the dealer

i asked the parts manager face to face today at my vw dealer if vw sell the parking camera as all it would need is a new tail badge and cable plus coding and was told they are not allowed to do it ?
wtf,,,, so damn stupid
i have ordered oem parking sensors and will maybe need to get them colour coded,,, to supply and fit and colour is £330
would be interested in how your camera works before my parts come, when do you plan to get the fitting done

i mentioned earlier that i've used these for a while and they are ok, but not perfect. the one joe has is the same.

you run a 12v, GND and video cable to the HU. assuming it is OEM or has a CAN box then it works automatically in reverse. with my zenec i can have it running on screen permenantly if i wanted.

there is no bulb out error when removing one light but looks better with a CANbus white festoon opposite it to blend in.

that particular camera 95% fits the bulb holder location but it's pretty much hidden.

have run a few cheapo cameras in on different cars. don't expect it to match a £300 OEM camera but they're more than good enough.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I've got the scirocco camera in mine but mounted inside the rear screen, not perfect ( any ideas on better location?)

The rns uses an rgb signal...that cameras a CMOS camera and will most likely not work...
You can get around this by using a multimedia adapter for the rns, or use a different camera...

Is it possible to connect this camera (the license plate bulb holder model) to my RNS510? If yes, how? A pin-out view?
And what about the scirocco camera?
I really want this!

How did you run the wires through the back bumper?

On mine, I had to unclip but not fully remove the rear bumper and feed the wires through the offside gromit. Then up to the 12v supply and then through the cabin.
