Only took a few photos today as I didn't want to get in Alex's way too much although I probably did anyway  :signLOL:

I don't even need to say it but great work from AKS as usual, sorted out quite a few niggly problems and all is working well at the moment.

Catch can didn't fit due to the boost tap so just used the washer relocation kit to tidy the bay up and will be selling the actual catch can kit.

Caddy rear calipers on standard 282mm discs and EBC yellow stuff pads to match the fronts.

Couple of pics of it on the ramp

Will get some better photos tomorrow after I've given it a proper clean inside and out.

They looked good earlier dan.. good to see you.  :happy2:

How do they feel?

Thanks mate, you to.

I was still there until about 6:30  :signLOL:

But after an hour and a half drive its safe to say my neck hurts

Pedal feel is a bit more bitey than the ttrs kit (although could be partly the new pads), but they really do stop hard, also feels a bit more balanced with the caddy rears but need to do some 120+ stopping to really tell on that one.
Dan them brakes look like BBTC brakes how do they compare to your old TTRS set up please could u do a test or mini review thanks

Will do fella, give me a week or two to get some miles on them and really put them to work and I'll see how they compare

First impressions are they have less pedal movement which makes it a bit harder to modulate your braking but with a bit more finesse they're fine, they definitely have more overall stopping power, they're a kg or two lighter per side and they have waaaaaaay more clearance than the TTRS kit.

I need to pull my finger out and sort my front brakes out, and my suspension too... February will be a busy month for me!

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Ah, not with the Golf R! I only ever wanted Porsche Cayenne fronts on it with 350mm single piece discs. I may swap to 2 piece discs at a later stage but for now I want it as a daily so I can't go too mad with expensive parts.

Oh fair enough, I thought I remembered you eying up the VWR calipers for a while and then something else, maybe that was me . My mates got basically that same kit on his 470bhp S4, stops it very well  :happy2:

Loving those brakes bud

Would you reckon the caddy rears would complement s3 fronts as I would get them refurbished at the same time as the front?

Cheers fella, visually they're no different but they bring more balance to the brake bias as they have the same piston as the R32/ S3 calipers just on a smaller disc, but because of that they're about 6kg lighter overall than the R32 kit (I've read). Is definitely a nice touch and they really don't cost much.
