Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say hello! My name is Rog, I'm 43 and I've just bought a Black 3dr 2005 GTi as abit of a rolling project. It has goodish spec too, including auto lights and dimming rear view mirror. It needs some loving to restore it back to it's former glory. There are a few niggly things to sort but nothing too bad ,the alloys need changing to 18"s, a new head unit, centre armrest and the list goes on and on....... :laugh:

I am no stranger to to the VAG group. I have had a few VW's, Audis and have a Skoda Octy VRS. I'm also on many forums too!

So, I'm very happy with my new motor. I have a Project thread/album on FB if anyone wants to follow it. I am heavily into detailing so will be "turning the clock back" on this GTi :smiley:

Hello,

I too have just bought a GTI, a red 5 door, and also live in MK. Mine is more of a daily driver (my other passion is Mk1 Escorts) but the Golf will also be getting some love.

The mk1 Escorts, sound awesome too, you don't see many around now.
