Here's hoping I fall in that range.

If I do. Is it a basic plug play and reset procedure or must I cross some wires? Probably one of the biggest cosmetic changes I'm hoping will be quick and easy hehe

Btw love the approach you took with your car.
Yes, you need to perform some wiring changes. Have a read in this topic, I'm sure it has the info you need: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,93764.0.html.

Thanks for the compliment. :drinking:

Well according to my vin its a MY07 (here's hoping the change you mentioned didn't happen midway through the model production and I'm left with a 50/50 chance). However thanks for the link aside from the first few pages of pure confusion I think it may end up being very helpful.

Now to find that piece...I guess like you said I might as well live with it and accept the automatic recirc light option haha

If it's a MY2007 it should be the new version. The automatic only activates if you press twice the button in a short time. If you press once and let the recirc activate, when you press again the recirc deactivates, so it's just like the mk5 climatronic panel.

Had a small photo shoot session with a friend and his highly modified GTD. He has the proper camera and skills to make our cars look so good.

Great shoot @Shoduchi  :drinking:

Silver Helios on a silver Mk5 5door is underrated, like that look at lot.
Your brake kit still steals the show on the darker leggeras'

I love the Helios on any mk5! I just think for what I need they're too big and heavy, otherwise I'd look for ones too.

The big red calipers on these open wheels do make a lot of show. Everyone looks at the car and notices them!
