Haha... that was a n expensive day at JKM for us both it seems! Tell us more matey, what you had done and whats the difference like?

Not going to inters this year, just too much on, and feeling pretty wiped out with all the purchasing going on the last couple of weeks...

K03 stage 2+ now on

Pulls so much harder through the mid range. Totally transforms the car - feels much more alive.

You are definitely in for a treat next Thursday Dom  :happy2:

Passenger ride next RR day Gareth?  would like to see how 2+ goes  :driver:

Well after upping the power it was time to up the braking...

Purchased from Mr AKS, was a Scirocco R setup that came straight off a new car and he ran on his car for 10k, but came with new pads...

A quick machine polish and a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealant et voila...

... one MINT set of calipers!

Ordered a litre of ATE Super Blue(which I use anyway) ready for the swap next Saturday... can't wait! :)

You'll see/feel a difference almost immediately. Wished I had fiited my R brakes sooner to my GTI. Although, just before I sold the GTI the brake fluid was changed and made a hell of a difference. You'll love 'em!

Are you leaving the brakes black or painting them?

Are they any different to R32 or S3 brakes?

Leaving them black, as it's going with the silver/black/dark grey contrast theme I'm going with... Stealthy... Will try pick up some black rears one day...

They look the same shape as S3 calipers...

Haha Paul!

More Brake pics I'm afraid...

Right have cleaned the discs up ready for fitting Saturday... Wire brushed them down and painted the circumference edge and bells silver, and polished the other caliper...

Can't wait to get these fitted...

Also purchased a RCD510 Head Unit from a 2012 Golf R, which was swapped straight out for a RNS510 to avoid the silly mark up, so is the latest version with the premium 8 sound quality... Very happy, just need to get the code for my RCD500 before removal to sell on.. :pomppomp:
