Impressive! I’m looking to do similar soon, don’t suppose you have a list of part numbers/prices?

Just made a new thread for everything listed.

Finally got some time to fix my rattling sunroof. Took the whole thing out along with the blind, gave everything a good clean, some silicone protector for the rubber seal and ptfe dry lube for the rails. Happy to say the rattle is gone, drove around the block for a bit and I can't hear the damn thing.

Just the dash rattling remains, between 1700-2200 RPM so you can ALWAYS hear it. I can't pinpoint it for the life of me, keep pressing around on every spot and it's to no effect. I'm gonna try and see if the side screws got loose or something, feel like putting an axe thru it already.

Had a very tired windscreen replaced.
No specific MOT fail damage but a plethora of tiny chips and scratches making it hazardous in the low winter sun.

2008 model with rain sensors , was a surprisingly decent quote for £245 without insurance (my 2010 TTS was nearer £600)…but my insurance agreed to cover it so it was £150 excess instead (no impact to NCB).
Black MkV Gti (Nov 2008), no modifications

Ordered a replacement interior passenger door grab handle, and to my surprise the GTI now has parts classified as classic
